The Northbridge Youth Art Prize is an exciting annual exhibition showcasing the diverse talents of children aged 4-18yrs. The exhibition now in its 12th year, provides an opportunity for children to be recognised for their unique achievements.


To be eligible, all entries must include elements of recycling or sustainability in materials and/or theme.
The Viola Winkler Art Prize (Grand Prize) $400
4-6 years
Best 2D/3D Work – $30 Voucher; Runner up - $20 Voucher/hamper.
7-10 yrs,
Best 2D/3D Work – $40 Voucher; Runner up 2D Work: $30 Voucher
11-14 yrs
Best 2D/3D Work – $60 Voucher; Runner up - $40 Voucher
15-18 yrs
Best 2D/3D Work – $75 Voucher; Runner up - $50 Voucher

Deadline for entries & delivery of artworks:

Entry Rules
1. Each entrant may submit up to two 2-dimensional and / or one 3D art works in the competition (submit separate entires for each) . All works must be no more than A2 size (eg A4, A3 or A2 are good). A work can consist of multiple parts but not exceed the A2 size overall.
2. Entries must be original work of the entrant and not infringe on any copyright laws. Works must have been created within the last 12 months. Artworks may be for sale (optional).
3. GALLERY 307 ART SCHOOL reserves the right to reject any works including wet, dangerous, delicate or offensive works.
4. The entry form is to be completed online. The entry fee is $20 (including GST) per artwork.
5. To be eligible for the Youth Art Prize the entrant must be 17 years of age or younger.
6. Late entries will not be accepted.
7. All entries must be ready for hanging. Framed and all works on canvas must have suitable cord across the back and D latches. Unframed works must be presented with “Velcro” adhesive hooks stuck to each corner. Works not ready for hanging will not be hung.
8. Entries must have the entrant’s name, address, telephone number, medium, title of work and price printed clearly on the back.
9. Commission of 10% will be charged on works sold.
10. Entrants must organize their own insurance cover against damage, loss or theft. GALLERY 307 ART SCHOOL shall not be responsible for any loss of or damage to any entry.
11. Judges' decisions are final.
12. There shall be no refund of entry fees for any work not selected for hanging.
13. Subject to the requirements above, at least 1 work from each youth entrant will be displayed.
14. Displayed entries are to be collected on Saturday 13th October 10am – 3pm OR Monday 15th October 9am – 5pm. Works not collected by this date will attract a collection fee of $5 per day. Works not collected within 1 week will be disposed of at the discretion of Gallery 307.
15. GALLERY 307 ART SCHOOL reserves the right to use images of works exhibited for promotion.
