Northbridge Junior Art Prize 2018

“Splash, Fly, Run”

The Northbridge Junior Art Prize is an exciting annual exhibition showcasing the diverse talents of children aged 4-18yrs. The exhibition now in its 10th year, provides an opportunity for children to be recognised for their unique achievements.

Entries close & delivery : (Extended to Wednesday 12th September 3pm). Deliver to Gallery 307 Art School, 307 Sailors Bay Road, Northbridge. 9958 1298. Ensure your online entry has been completed and bring a copy with your artwork

Opening & Awards Presentation : Sunday 23rd September 3.30 – 5.30pm

Exhibition Dates : 23rd September – 12th October

Opening Hours : Tues – Fri 9am – 5pm, Sat 10am – 3pm

Winning entries will be displayed at Northbridge Plaza from 15th October 2018 – 26th Oc tober 2018

Pick up of Artworks : Saturday 13th October 10am – 3pm OR Monday 15th October 9am – 5pm

Entry Rules

1. Each entrant may submit up to two 2-dimensional (submit separate entries for each piece ) and / or one 3D art works in the competition. All works must be no more than A2 size (eg A4, A3 or A2 are good). A work can consist of multiple parts but not exceed the A2 size

2. Entries must be original work of the entrant and not infringe on any copyright laws. Works must have been done within the last 12 months. Artworks may be for sale (optional).

3. GALLERY 307 ART SCHOOL reserves the right to reject any works including wet, dangerous, delicate or offensive.

4. The entry form is to be completed online. An entry fee of $20 (including GST) per artwork will apply, covering hanging and administration costs.

5. To be eligible for the Junior Art Prize the entrant must be 18 years of age or younger.

6. Late entries will not be accepted.

7. All entries must be ready for hanging. Framed and Canvas must have suitable cord across the back and D latches. If unframed work must be presentable with velcro “adhesive hook” stuck to each corner. Works not ready for hanging will not be hung.

8. Entries must have the entrants name, address, telephone number, medium, title of work and price printed clearly on the back (removable stickers recommended).

9. Commission of 20% will be charged on works sold.

10. Entrants must organize their own insurance cover against damage, loss or theft. GALLERY 307 ART SCHOOL whilst taking all care shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to any entry.

11. Judges decisions are final.

12. There is no refund of entry fees for any work not selected for hanging.

13. At least 1 work from each child will be displayed.

14. Displayed entries to be collected Saturday 13th October 10am – 3pm OR Monday 15th October 9am – 5pm. Works not collected by this date will attract a collection fee of $5 per day. Works not collected within 1 week will be disposed of at the discretion of Gallery 307.

15. GALLERY 307 ART SCHOOL reserve the right to use images of works exhibited at the Northbridge Junior Art Prize for promotional use.
